The International English Language Testing, or IELTS, needs proper preparation in order do be passed. I'm going to discuss some very important steps needed to be taken in order to pass the IELTS. This test is required for people who are seeking to enter certain countries in order to work or attend school. Do not use slang When taking the test be careful not to use slang. You are not talking to to friends or family. These mental mistakes can end up costing you dearly. Here are a few words to avoid Do not use gonna instead of going to, dunno for don't know, or wanna for want to. These are just a few you should avoid. Instead of contractions, practice using full forms. Contractions are words that are joined together at not separated. These are going to be the kind of words where you have the option of joining them together or keeping them separate. Some of these words include it's instead of it is, we're instead of we are, they'd instead of they would, and we'd instead of we would. Hopefully you're beginning to get the idea. There are a lot of these types of words you'll need to be aware of, many times they'll come to you naturally and you'll know right away that you shouldn't be using them. It is okay to use them on the speaking part of your test but not on the writing part. The writing portion should be practiced The written portion is the most important part of the test, so you must be careful not to use "chat room" or "IM" writing. Do not use u for you, k for ok, cya for see you or lol for laugh out loud. Phone texting, Skype, and internet chat rooms have made this form of writing more common. It is very easy to get these phrases confused especially if you aren't a native English speaker. When you're going through your IELTS preparation be sure to keep these things in mind. Passing the IELTS isn't that hard to do at all. With the right IELTS preparation you should have no problem getting a high enough score to pass. There are numerous ways to prepare for this test in order to ensure success. Once you feel you've had enough preparation it may be best to take the test as soon as possible while the information is still fresh. |
